IF YOUR SHOWER IS SEAMLESS OR ONEPIECE: Allowing for the thickness of the shower laminate nail 25mm dressed timber battens to the wall & floor just in from your pencil line & where shower mixer is to be installed. Push shower back into place ensuring everything is level & plumb and the holes for your plumbing fixtures align up. Apply an AT acetic type silicone to the surface of the battens which will contact the shower. Put shower into position and allow 12-24 hrs for the silicone to harden. Alternatively shower can be fixed with screws or pins & covered with small moulding. Push shower back into place ensuring everything is level & plumb and the holes for your plumbing fixtures align up. Unbolt the top from the base, apply a mould inhibiting acetic based silicon adhesive/sealant to the base. Bolt together then immediately with a rag & turps or kerosene wipe out excess silicon from joint. Apply an AT acetic type silicone to the surface of the battens which will contact the shower. For installing doors & panels we suggest you use an RTV Bath & Tile type or acetic base silicon with a mould inhibitor. Please Note: The use of adhesives with solvents in them is not recommended as the solvents may deform the fibreglass. With reinforced showers there is no need to use adhesive as the walls are already stiffened.
